November DPHH - Marshall Stack

Hello all -

A new bar recently opened near where I work and one of the DPHH regulars read my mind and suggested the same place for November. Yayness!

Marshall Stack
On Allen and Rivington Streets (northwest corner)
Friday, November 3, 2006 6pm ---?

take the F/V train to Lower East Side/2nd Avenue. When you get out of the train, proceed to 1st Avenue/Allen street exit of the platform. Do exit out the Allen Street side NOT First Avenue. Go down approximately two blocks (past Stanton street) and lo and behold.. Marshall Stack is at the very end of the 2 block hike.

or, take J/M/Z train to Bowery. when you exit, walk due east on Delancey street to Allen Street (pass Chrystie and Forsyth) and make a left. Walk one block to Rivington.

See you there! I plan to be there around 9pm after a community meeting.. and Happy Hallowe'en!

"DPHH was in full swing by the time I got there. I'd say there was approximately 30 people, but it was hard to tell because the bar itself was crowded with the usual bar-goers. Everyone was taking advantage of their 2-for-1 drink specials.

The DJ must've been great since people were dancing to the beat. The energy level was high, and everyone was obviously having a great time! Excellent Pick!!"
