July DPHH - Chelsea Brewery Friday, July 6, 6pm -?
folks,
Summer's here! A recommendation from a native New Yorker is Chelsea Brewing Company - the restaurant and microbrewery on Pier 59, at the end of the the Piers complex facing north. (to see the map, go to: http://www.chelseapiers.com
address:
Address: Piers 59-62 on Hudson River from 17th to 23rd Sts.; entrance at 23rd St., New York, NY, USA
Phone: 212/336-6666
Friday, July 6 6pm ----???
Should you have problems with the link, go tohttp://www.chelseabrewingco
the restaurant and microbrewery area is two stories high with a large bar, a cigar lounge, and a wall of window overlooking the Hudson River as well as the (golf) shooting range. the reviews aren't kind on food so you might as well avoid dinner or munchies
for information on the beer made by the Brewery itself, go to:
http://beerme.com/breweries/us
Most reviewers say there's often only 7 beers to choose from, and they're usually by popular demand and season.
Anyways - the place looks big and spacious, which is pretty ideal...
There's more information on driving and subway for those who are not familiar with Chelsea Piers. Feel free to ignore or continue to scroll down... see you Friday July 6 and hope for good weather!!
cheers,
kate
