June's Photos!

Thanks to everyone who braved out the rain and came out for June's DPHH! It was a packed house! And I want to take a moment to thank Andrew Washington for volunteering to help take photos along with me ("General Jen") and Zavier.

NYC DPHH Hostess-Jennifer Perlis, Host-Zavier Sabio

So you may be wondering? Who are the official hosts of DPHH now? Why its me (Jennifer Perlis) and Zavier Sabio!!! Welcome aboard Zavier! As you can see in the photos above, Zavier is deAfinitely a social butterfly. In addition to our NYC DPHH team, we have several volunteer photographers, Ashraf ul Hossain, his work can be viewed here; and Steve Martinez, his work can be viewed here; and when they can't make it, Zavier & I will snap the dphh photos :-)

Also this Fall, Zavier and I plan to experiment with hosting DPHH on Saturdays as well as Fridays. We hope to post the Fall line up in late August so you can plan accordingly for the upcoming Fall/Winter holidays.

July's DPHH will be announced early next week and again thank you all for making June's DPHH a big success!!!

I went there, around 10 PM, and when I got in, the main bar was looked like there weren't anyone deaf. In these pictures, it looks packed, where exactly was this "room" because I couldn't find anyone.

This was the event before Webster Hall event the next day correct?

Yes I believe Webster Hall event was the next day but we are not affilated with the group that sponsors that event. (We would be happy to tho).
For June's DPHH it was on the 3rd floor, I apologize that you were not able to find it. The bouncer informed everyone as they entered to go to the 3rd floor.
In the future, if the location has more than 1 floor, do make sure to check out the additional floors in case we're not near the entrance.

Perhaps, in the future, if you have something like that, you could notify on your website, because I kept going in and out of the bar, only saw like 2-3 people I didn't know who sitting on the first floor, giving me the impression it was "dead".
