West End Bar thoughts.

Sorry folks - no pictures!! My regular photo bug decided to head to DC DPHH *sniff* He'll be back, I know it! :-) . Also I loaned my camera to my sister for her vacation and I didn't realize I did need it a couple days later..

Due to lovely, lovely balmy weather and it being Friday after 4th of July, a couple handful of folks attended and we all ended up having a good time nevertheless. A prior commitment prevented me from arriving until nearly 10pm. A friend had paged me around 8p saying the place is empty. Then he informed me before 9 that there were more folks arriving. The crowd reached its peak around 11p and it was a jolly good time. A group of recent graduates from RIT are interning for the summer and a man who moved back to New York got some job opening tips. That's a proper setting for a Deaf Professional Happy Hour!

The bar closed at 2am and bunch of us, led by one of the regular DPHH patrons found another bar nearby. I was only too happy to be let off the hook :).
